# FantasyOmatic > Algorithm-powered fantasy football analysis platform. Uses proprietary matchup adjustment models to generate weekly player projections, rankings, and trade values independent of industry consensus. Features an AI copilot for personalized start/sit decisions, lineup optimization, and a custom AI-generated podcast. FantasyOmatic differs from standard fantasy football tools by computing matchup-adjusted ratings for every player-defense combination, factoring in home/away splits, playing surface, and rolling defensive performance trends. The platform identifies where industry consensus rankings diverge from algorithmic projections, surfacing overvalued and undervalued players. ## Core Features - [Matchup-Adjusted Rankings](https://fantasyomatic.com/rankings): Weekly player rankings adjusted by defensive matchup quality, not just raw projections - [Defense Impact](https://fantasyomatic.com/matchups): Signed rating-point movement for every defense by position (QB/RB/WR/TE) each week — positive is favorable, negative is tough - [Player Detail Pages](https://fantasyomatic.com/rankings): Full telemetry on every player — rating gauge, efficiency matchup, usage stats, projection waterfall, weekly trend - [AI Fantasy Football Copilot](https://fantasyomatic.com/ai-coach): Conversational AI assistant with access to algorithm data for start/sit, trade, and waiver decisions - [Custom AI Podcast](https://fantasyomatic.com/podcast): On-demand two-host AI podcast covering your league's key storylines each week ## How It Works FantasyOmatic fits current-season Ridge regression models to verified player-game data. Player Rating is a Madden-like 0-100 translation of the native player-model output. Week Context represents opponent, role, injury, and schedule effects in rating points, and This Week equals Player Rating plus Week Context. Ratings are not projected fantasy points. The offensive scale is cross-position comparable: a QB rated 85 and a WR rated 85 have equivalent fantasy value. The documented 2024 Weeks 6-17 walk-forward backtest covered 3,241 predictions. Adding the opponent-efficiency feature reduced mean absolute error from 4.982 to 4.897, a 1.7% improvement over the same model without that feature.
