Reading the badges
One glance, cross-position truth
Every badge is the player's this-week Rating100 — equal numbers mean equal fantasy-value edge, even across positions. Hover for rest-of-season and injury status.

Injury flags ride along: Q questionable, D doubtful, O out, IR injured reserve. A dash means BYE, IR, or unrated — never a real zero.

Installation
Installed in about a minute
Until the Chrome Web Store listing is approved, install the extension by loading the downloaded folder — same build, no Developer-mode risk beyond trusting this site.
1.Download the zip
Click the download button — fantasyomatic-extension.zip lands in your Downloads folder.
2.Unzip it, and keep the folder
Double-click the zip. That creates a folder (on Windows: right-click → Extract All). Move the folder somewhere permanent like Documents — your browser loads the extension from this folder every time it starts, so deleting it later breaks the extension. The zip itself can go.
3.Open your browser's extensions page
Type chrome://extensions in the address bar (or edge://extensions, brave://extensions) and switch on Developer mode — the toggle in the top-right corner. Two new buttons appear at the top-left.
4.Click Load unpacked and pick the folder
Click Load unpacked, then select the folder itself — highlight it and press Select; don't open it and pick a file inside. You'll know it worked when a “FantasyOMatic Ratings 1.0.0” card appears in your extensions list with its toggle switched on.
5.Pin the icon to your toolbar
Click the puzzle-piece icon next to your address bar, find FantasyOMatic Ratings, and click the pin. Now the shield icon is always visible — clicking it opens the popup with per-site toggles and status.
6.Sign in at fantasyomatic.com
The extension uses your FantasyOMatic session — a free account works. If the toolbar icon shows a !, you're signed out: sign in here in the same browser, then reload your fantasy page. Open the popup to confirm — it should say which week's ratings are loaded.

Hover for the story
The badge shows this week. The tooltip adds the player's name as we know it, rest-of-season rating, and injury status.
Per-site toggles
Click the toolbar icon to switch badges off for any platform — handy on draft day when a co-manager is watching your screen.
Fresh automatically
Ratings refresh every 15 minutes in the background. The popup shows exactly how old the copy on your machine is.
Troubleshooting
Common questions
Chrome says "Manifest file is missing or unreadable"+
You selected the wrong folder — usually the unzip created a folder inside a folder. Open the folder you picked: if there's just another folder inside, click Load unpacked again and choose that inner one. The right folder has manifest.json directly inside it.
The extension worked, then disappeared or shows an error+
The folder you loaded it from was probably moved or deleted. Your browser reads the extension from that folder on every launch — restore it (or re-download, unzip, and Load unpacked again), then click the refresh arrow on the extension's card.
No badges are showing — what do I check?+
First click the toolbar icon: if it says to sign in, log in at fantasyomatic.com in the same browser and reload the fantasy page. Then confirm the site's toggle is on in the popup. Badges only appear on player rows where the page shows a position (QB/RB/WR/TE/K/D-ST).
Is it in the Chrome Web Store?+
The Web Store listing is under review. Until it's live, the download above installs the identical build via Load unpacked — and Edge, Brave, Opera, and Arc accept the same folder.
Which pages does it work on?+
Any page on the five supported platforms that lists players with positions: rosters, waiver wire, matchups, and most draft screens. New layouts the platforms ship can temporarily hide badges until we update the extension.
How fresh are the ratings?+
The extension refreshes its ratings index from FantasyOMatic every 15 minutes, and the popup shows the age of the copy it's using. Ratings themselves update when our pipeline runs.
How do updates work?+
Installed from the zip, the extension does not update itself. When we release a new version we'll note it here — re-download the zip, replace your extension folder's contents with the new ones, then click the refresh arrow on the extension's card at chrome://extensions. Once the Chrome Web Store listing is live, store installs will update automatically and this step goes away.
How do I uninstall it?+
Go to chrome://extensions and click Remove on the FantasyOMatic Ratings card — that deletes the extension and everything it stored (cached ratings, your toggles). Then delete the unzipped folder from your computer. Nothing else is left behind, and your fantasyomatic.com account is untouched.
Does it need a paid plan?+
No — any signed-in FantasyOMatic account works, including the free tier. Paid tools like AI Coach and league sync stay on the site.
Privacy: nothing about your league leaves your browser
On supported fantasy sites, the extension reads player names, positions, and teams from the page locally to decide where to place badges. That content is never transmitted anywhere.
Its only network request is downloading the FantasyOMatic ratings index from fantasyomatic.com using your signed-in session — the same request your browser makes when you visit the site. We never learn which platform, league, or players you view.
No analytics, no trackers, no third-party code. Settings and the cached index live in your browser's extension storage and vanish on uninstall.
