Methodology
The public column ranks each defense by the raw fantasy points per touch it has allowed at the position — the Fantasy Points Against shortcut, which keeps opponent quality baked into the number. The adjusted column ranks the same defenses by Defense Impact: the average movement, in rating points, that the matchup applies to the weekly ratings of the players facing that defense. Both columns are read from the same live ratings snapshot; this page adds no model of its own.
Defense Impact comes from the walk-forward Ridge regression pipeline: every projection is produced using only weeks played before it, then scored against what actually happened. Reproduce the validation yourself:
